1. About our service
DeleMate provides a technology platform that connects senders and businesses with delivery riders for local parcel delivery. Our services include order booking, smart batching, route optimization, rider assignment, tracking, and related support tools.
DeleMate is a logistics platform — we facilitate deliveries but do not take ownership of parcels unless explicitly stated in a separate written agreement.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract to use our services. Businesses must have authority to bind their organization. Riders must meet our onboarding and verification requirements before accepting trips.
3. Accounts and accurate information
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You agree to provide accurate pickup, drop-off, contact, and parcel information.
- You must promptly update information that affects a delivery in progress.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
4. Orders, pricing, and payments
DeleMate operates on a pay-per-delivery model unless otherwise agreed in writing. There are no mandatory subscriptions to book deliveries through the platform.
- Quoted fees may depend on distance, parcel count, urgency, and operational conditions.
- You authorize us and our payment partners to charge applicable delivery fees, taxes, and adjustments for completed or attempted services as disclosed at checkout.
- Failed pickups, cancellations, or returns may be subject to fees if a rider has already been dispatched, as shown in the app or on our pricing page.
- Business customers with separate commercial agreements are bound by those contract terms where they differ from these Terms.
5. Sender and business responsibilities
- Package parcels securely and label them clearly with accurate recipient details.
- Do not send prohibited, illegal, hazardous, or restricted items (see Section 7).
- Ensure someone is available at pickup and, where required, at delivery.
- Comply with applicable commerce, tax, and regulatory obligations for the goods you ship.
6. Rider responsibilities
- Complete assigned trips safely, lawfully, and in line with platform guidelines.
- Treat customers, recipients, and parcels with care and professionalism.
- Use the app for navigation, status updates, and proof of delivery where required.
- Riders are independent contractors or partners as defined in their separate rider agreement, not employees of DeleMate unless explicitly stated otherwise.
7. Prohibited items and uses
You may not use the platform to transport items that are illegal, dangerous, or restricted under applicable law, including but not limited to:
- Weapons, explosives, or flammable materials.
- Illegal drugs or controlled substances.
- Stolen goods or items that infringe intellectual property rights.
- Cash, bearer instruments, or high-value items beyond disclosed limits without prior approval.
- Live animals, perishable goods without proper packaging, or items that require special licenses unless explicitly supported.
We may refuse, cancel, or report shipments we reasonably believe violate this section.
8. Tracking, proof of delivery, and disputes
Order status, route information, and delivery updates are provided through the platform to improve visibility for senders and recipients. Delivery confirmation may include app-based status changes, photos, or recipient acknowledgment where available.
If a parcel is lost, damaged, or delivered incorrectly, contact us promptly at contact@delemate.com with order details. We will review the case and work toward a fair resolution in line with our policies and any applicable business agreement.
9. Platform availability
We strive to keep the platform available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, network issues, weather, traffic, or events outside our control may affect dispatch times and delivery windows.
10. Intellectual property
The DeleMate name, logo, software, website content, and related materials are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer our platform except as allowed by law or with our written permission.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DeleMate provides the platform and services "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DeleMate and its affiliates, officers, employees, and partners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the services.
Our total liability for any claim related to a specific delivery or use of the platform will not exceed the fees you paid to DeleMate for that delivery in the thirty (30) days before the event giving rise to the claim, unless a higher limit is required by applicable law or set out in a separate business contract.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DeleMate from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the platform, violation of these Terms, unlawful shipments, or infringement of third-party rights.
14. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the platform if you breach these Terms, create safety or legal risk, or engage in fraud or abuse. You may stop using the platform at any time. Sections that by nature should survive termination (including payment obligations, liability limits, and indemnity) will continue to apply.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your jurisdiction.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Material changes may also be communicated through the app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
